Weight loss for me has always been a challenge.  I remember being as young as 12 and being obsessed with my body.  For the longest time, I thought, I will be on a diet for the rest of my life because I will never be “thin enough”.

 

For the last 12 years, I had a very stubborn 40 lbs to lose and it just wouldn't move.  I tried every diet known to mankind, I searched all kinds of professional help such as hypnosis, acupuncture, starving, holistic and regular doctors, etc.  Nothing changed…I remember feeling like, I was stuck in this body forever and should just get used to being overweight. 

 

The worse part was that I was always a healthy eater, I never ate fast food or binged.  I didn’t get why my body was just holding on to the stubborn weight.

 

I wanted to just hide, when people saw me, they mentioned how healthy I ate but noticed that the weight was still there. 

 

By normal standards, I was considered an expert in everything nutrition but the results were not visible. How could this be? I felt like my body was playing a trick on me.  I felt lost, confused and hopeless.  Does this sound like you? I get it.
